Church of San Pedro de los Francos

Upper view of the main nave of the Gothic church of San Pedro de los Francos, in Calatayud, Aragon, Spain. The original temple was founded in the 12th century by order of Alfonso I, "The Battler". He wished to offer the French who settled in Calatayud after helping him in the Battle of Cutanda (1120) against the Almoravids a place to pray. The current church was built two centuries later.
