St.Helen's church, Brigsley, Lincs. Another Lincolnshire archaeological conundrum of a church. An un-buttressed tower with 11th century origins and a Perpendicular top, a chancel that was once much higher but with some 13th and 14th century windows. Blocked aisles on the north and south with a Perpendicular clerestorey .... fascinating !
