Flood warning tower in St. Veit an der Triesting, built at about 1829, was used as a warning system for the canal leaving river Triesting here. When a flood was coming down the river, the rising water causes a bell in the roof of the tower to ring. Then the weir was opened and the industrial areal of Neufeldt was not flooded. The tower was renovated in 2004 and is a cultural heritage monument now.
