Melon Island is a small uninhabited island in the commune of Porspoder in Finistère near the Saint-Laurent peninsula. Accessible at low tide, it formed, two centuries ago, the Loches archipelago, with the now submerged island of Lamic'h. It is said to take its name from the name of a saint whose cult was widespread in Wales and Cornwall in Britain.
