St. Martin's Church, Nierstein

The church dates back to the 12th century and was previously the Catholic Church of St. Martin. The core of the choir tower is Romanesque, the bell storey was added in 1563. The domed helmet, the east portal and the porch were added in 1895/96. The nave was rebuilt in Baroque style in 1782-1787 and extended in 1895/96. In the tower hall there are tombs from the 16th and 18th centuries.
