St Martin's collegiate church and medieval standing cross, Lowthorpe

St Martins Church, Lowthorpe, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The church was probably built in 1333 when St Martin's was made collegiate by Sir John de Heslerton and housed a rector, six chantry priests and three clerks. The college survived until dissolution in 1579 when St Martin's became the Parish Church. Older (partly ruined) bits of the buildings are described on local signposting as a monastery.
