The parish church of Broadwater; Worthing formed the southern part of its parish in its early days as a fishing village, and its first two churches were chapels of ease to St Mary's. By the mid-19th century, Worthing had grown so rapidly that it absorbed Broadwater. Listed at Grade I (formerly Grade B) by English Heritage (IoE Code 302233)
