St. John's Episcopal Church (also known as the "Church of the Presidents") located at 1525 H Street, N.W., in downtown Washington, D.C. Built in 1816 to the designs of noted architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe, the federal-style church is designated as a National Historic Landmark. In addition, the building is designated as a contributing property to the Sixteenth Street Historic District and Lafayette Square Historic District.
